Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 per year
Requirements: We have commercial experience supporting Microsoft Azure cloud environments.We have strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Windows Server administration.We have experience supporting cloud-hosted infrastructure and business-critical production platforms.We have a solid understanding of platform security, secure configuration and vulnerability remediation.We have experience working within ITIL or structured IT Service Management environments, including Incident, Change and Problem Management.We have hands-on experience using monitoring, alerting and service management tools.We have scripting experience using PowerShell or similar automation technologies.We have strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.We have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams and third-party suppliers.Desirable: We have experience with Microsoft Defender and Secure Score optimisation.Desirable: We have experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and platform observability tools.Desirable: We have experience with SQL Server, VMware or virtualised infrastructure environments.Desirable: We have familiarity with CIS Benchmarks, NCSC guidance or other security frameworks.Desirable: We have experience with networking, firewalls and connectivity troubleshooting.Desirable: We have experience with disaster recovery, resilience testing and business continuity planning.Desirable: We have experience working within regulated or highly governed environments. Responsibilities: We support the day-to-day administration of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments.We monitor platform performance, availability and security, respond to incidents and resolve operational issues.We maintain cloud infrastructure, Windows Server environments and business-critical platforms across production and non-production environments.We implement security best practices, platform hardening, vulnerability remediation and security improvements.We support platform maintenance activities, including patching, upgrades and planned out-of-hours deployments.We assist with disaster recovery exercises, resilience testing and business continuity planning.We automate operational tasks using PowerShell and contribute to continuous improvements across platform operations.We work closely with engineering, application support, security teams and third-party suppliers to deliver a reliable, secure service.We support change, incident and problem management processes while maintaining accurate technical documentation and operational runbooks.We contribute to the ongoing evolution of the platform through operational, security and service improvement initiatives.
