Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year
Requirements: Proven work experience in product management.Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.Some technical leadership or project management experience with software development and/or testing.Solid technical background with understanding of or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to get involved and take a hands-on approach.Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Some knowledge of the IT security industry and software products would be beneficial.Must be based in the UK and able to travel to our Sussex office two days per week. Responsibilities: Gather customer requirements from Sales, Marketing, and Training teams.Define product roadmaps with engineering.Prioritize customer requirements to create winning products.Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify product gaps, and generate innovative ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.Create buy-in for the product vision within internal engineering and business teams.Support Sales and Marketing with customers and key external partners.Support Sales and Marketing in developing product pricing and positioning strategies.Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time to market and optimal resources.Support product launches with the Sales and Marketing team.Help Sales and Marketing evaluate promotional plans to ensure they align with product line strategy.Act as a software product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
