About this role
Under direct supervision, the Facility Attendant supports daily operations of the Cobre Valley Recreation Center by providing high-quality customer service, monitoring facility safety, assisting with programming, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Maintain positive customer service in assigned areas.
• Serve as front desk and fitness room attendant.
• Handle registration, reservations, membership services, and cash handling.
• Assist in implementation of recreation programs and activities.
• Maintain equipment and facility cleanliness.
• Provide supervision and safety oversight in assigned areas.
• Supervise children within designated spaces.
• Support marketing initiatives for the CVRC.
• Assist with cleaning and indoor/outdoor upkeep.
• Assist with special events and room reservations set up and tear down.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written instructions in English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and occasionally high-stress environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use basic computer systems for operations and reporting.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to work a flexible, part-time schedule up to 29.5 hours per week, this could include early mornings, late nights, weekends and/or holidays.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED
Required Certifications:
Current CPR for the Professional, AED, First Aid, and Arizona Food Handlers Card or ability to obtain within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
