Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding requirements and translating them into functional software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications align with organizational goals and provide effective support for business operations. Continuous refinement and adjustment of the software components are part of the daily routine to maintain optimal performance and usability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements. - Ensure the quality and reliability of software through thorough testing and validation. - Document design specifications and application configurations for future reference. - Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter. - Strong understanding of software design principles and application configuration. - Experience in customizing and extending enterprise software solutions. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues effectively. - Familiarity with integration techniques and working with APIs within software ecosystems. - Good communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter. - This position is based at our Coimbatore office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
