Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the developed solutions align with organizational goals. The position demands continuous evaluation and refinement of applications to enhance functionality and efficiency, while adapting to evolving business requirements. Engaging in problem-solving and innovation to deliver effective software solutions is a key aspect of daily activities, contributing to the overall success of the projects and teams involved. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have Influencing and Advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components. - Mentor and guide junior team members to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Data Mapping & Conversions. - Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data structures and translate them into effective software solutions. - Experience in designing scalable and maintainable application configurations. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and application performance. - Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. - Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices in application design. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Workday Data Mapping & Conversions. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
