About this role
<ul type="disc"> <li>Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering</li> <li>More than 10 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas field projects including experience in activities relevant to rotating equipment and machinery, including pumps, turbines, compressors, and engines.</li> <li>Must be experienced as Site TPI for inspection and monitoring of mechanical works related to rotating (pumps, compressors, turbines) and static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, boilers).</li> <li>Ability to interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, datasheets, P&IDs, and technical specifications.</li> <li>Ensure equipment is installed and aligned per manufacturer specifications and project procedures (shaft alignment, grouting, soft foot, etc.).</li> <li>Witness equipment testing such as hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, mechanical run tests, and alignment checks.</li> <li>Monitor welding, fabrication, assembly, and erection of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with WPS, PQR, and project specifications.</li> <li>Verify material certificates, inspection and test reports (ITRs), and documentation as per ITPs.</li> <li>Very good knowledge of spoken and written English language including writing of technical reports.</li> <li>Computer literate and familiarity with International Standards related to Mechanical activities (ASME, API, ASTM, BS, etc.)</li> <li>Holding UAE Driving license.</li> </ul>
