About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Operate buses, school busses or streetcars to transport passengers. Direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures. Complete logbooks and reports. Ensure children's safety when boarding and leaving buses and crossing street while bus is stopped. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles and buses with fewer than 24 passengers). Security and safety: Child Abuse Registry check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Driver's abstract. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colours. Hand-eye co-ordination. Sitting. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Judgement. Organized. Reliability. Experience: Experience an asset.
