Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural consistency and alignment with business objectives. - Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations. - Document architectural decisions and maintain comprehensive records to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in COBOL Mainframe. Strong experience in COBOL, CICS, VSAM, JCL, and DB2. Hands-on experience in CICS with the ability to work independently. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mainframe COBOL/CICS applications. Collaborate effectively with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality Mainframe solutions. Strong knowledge of system design principles and architectural frameworks related to mainframe environments. Experience in performance tuning and scalability planning for large-scale technology platforms. Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and translate them into effective architectural solutions. Familiarity with integration techniques and middleware technologies within mainframe ecosystems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering robust and maintainable architectures. Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve productivity in testing processes.
Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 4 years of experience in COBOL Mainframe. - This position is based at our Chennai / Hyderabad / Coimbatore / Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
