Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. The position demands continuous collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency. Throughout the day, the engineer balances technical development with problem-solving and refinement to deliver robust and scalable software systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team. - Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development. - Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Billing. - Strong knowledge of application design and configuration principles within enterprise environments. - Experience in customizing software solutions to meet complex business requirements. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. - Familiarity with integration techniques and data flow management between systems. - Skilled in collaborating with diverse teams to deliver high-quality software products. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Billing. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
