About this role
The Neosho School District is seeking a certified Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. Primary Tasks & Major Activities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide high-quality instruction aligned to district curriculum and grade-level expectations
• Serve as an instructional leader through inquiry-based and project-based learning
• Collaborate within a Professional Learning Community (PLC) to plan curriculum, create common assessments, and analyze student data
• Use research-based instructional strategies and authentic assessment practices to inform instruction
• Deliver intentional and differentiated instruction based on individual student data
• Maintain effective classroom management and foster positive student relationships
• Support character development and maintain strong parent/teacher communication
• Participate in district and building professional development and grade-level collaboration
• Work successfully as part of a highly collaborative instructional team
• Support and follow district and building vision and initiatives
Qualifications:
• Valid Missouri teaching certification appropriate to grade level
• Strong instructional, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
