School: Wheatmore High School 10 Month / Full Time Position Effective: 2026 - 2027 School Year Must hold a NC Educator's License in a Secondary (9-12) area The Lead Teacher serves as a member of the school's leadership team and works collaboratively with the principal and assistant principals to support teaching and learning. This lead teacher provides instructional leadership, mentors teachers, facilitates professional learning, and helps implement school improvement initiatives. The Lead Teacher promotes a positive school culture by supporting data-driven instruction, collaborating with departments and PLCs, assisting with curriculum implementation, and serving as a resource for teachers. The Lead Teacher also helps coordinate schoolwide programs and performs additional leadership duties as assigned by the principal to advance student achievement and school success. Job# 388200
