Palestine–Wheatley School District is seeking a certified K–12 Biology/Life Science Teacher to provide engaging, standards‑aligned instruction across grade levels. Responsibilities include teaching biology concepts, leading age‑appropriate labs, maintaining a safe learning environment, assessing student progress, and collaborating with staff to support student success.
QUALIFICATIONS Valid Arkansas Teaching License with certification in Biology, Life Science, or related field Strong understanding of biological concepts, scientific inquiry, and lab safety Ability to design developmentally appropriate lessons for elementary, middle, and high school students Effective classroom management and communication skills Experience with hands‑on science instruction preferred Any alternative qualifications deemed acceptable by the Board of Education
