CITY OF STAUNTON Recycling Attendant-Full Time The City of Staunton Public Works Department keeps our city shining. The Recycling and Refuse Division is now recruiting for a full-time Recycle Attendant to join its team. Successful candidate has responsibility for collecting recyclable materials at our centralized recycling center. Candidate must have great customer service skills and the willingness to assist and/or guide the citizens of Staunton with sorting and collecting materials. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday hours (8:30am-3:00pm); Thursday hours (8:30am-7:00pm); and Saturday hours (7:30am-2:00pm). Must demonstrate strong character and work ethic, be physically capable of lifting approximately 40 pounds on a regular basis, and standing/walking for extended periods of time. Position requires working outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Hourly rate: $18.00 (+) excellent benefits. Apply online. This position is open until filled.
