About this role
To maintain the Hall in a clean and ready to use state. To perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks. Key Tasks: • To maintain stock levels of heating oil, cleaning products and other equipment • To check that hall furniture is kept safe and ready for use. • To check that required maintenance and inspections are conducted regularly. • To perform routine maintenance including fire alarm testing, heating tests, lighting tests to ensure all are in working order. • To perform general cleaning of floors, bathrooms, meeting room, kitchen and stage on a regular basis. Skills & Experience Developed: • Develop good communication skills. • Gain experience in janitorial and cleaning. • Gain skills and knowledge in safe storage and use of cleaning chemicals. • Work with the Hall Committee to ensure hall is fit for use by the Hall users..
