This role offers a unique opportunity to operate as the finance lead for a multi-site, multi-service operation, partnering closely with both internal leadership and an external client. Ideal for candidates with a public accounting background, this position blends financial planning & analysis, technical accounting, and strategic business partnership in a highly visible environment. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Serve as the primary finance partner supporting a high-profile client account with multiple locations and service lines</li> <li>Analyze financial performance across sites and service lines, delivering clear, actionable insights to operations and client stakeholders</li> <li>Lead the monthly close process, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, cost allocation, and contract compliance</li> <li>Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, identifying risks and opportunities</li> <li>Partner with operational leadership to drive profitability, cost efficiency, and operational performance</li> <li>Prepare and present financial results and insights directly to client stakeholders as part of regular business reviews</li> <li>Oversee billing, cash flow, and working capital management, including AR and DSO performance</li> <li>Perform detailed balance sheet reviews and reconciliations, ensuring financial integrity</li> <li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting, controls, and financial transparency</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Sector-level Finance and Field Operations teams</li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting strongly preferred)</li> <li>3-4+ years of experience, public accounting experience preferred</li> <li>Strong foundation in US GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting</li> <li>Experience managing or auditing complex, multi-entity or multi-location operations</li> <li>Proven ability to translate financial data into strategic insights for business partners</li> <li>Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior leadership and clients</li> <li>Experience with data and analytics</li> <li>Food service experience is a plus</li> </ul></div></div></div>Apply to Restaurant Associates today!
