The position will be physically based at the Duncan Neurological Research Institute. </p> <p> </p> <p>This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.</p> <p> </p> <p>Employees with CRA certification are eligible for certification pay.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Duties</H2> </div><div><p>Sponsored Research Administration &amp; Grants Management (Pre-Award/Post-Award)</p> <ul> <li>Review/approve grant applications and certify data in the electronic Biomedical Research and Assurance Information Network (BRAIN)</li> <li>Lead process improvement for pre/post award management</li> <li>Advise faculty on funding opportunities, eligibility, and complex submissions</li> <li>Prepare internal/external grant and subcontract submissions</li> <li>Ensure compliance with sponsor and institutional guidelines</li> <li>Serve as grants liaison for BCM, other institutions, and funding agencies</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Financial &amp; Operational Research Support </p> <ul> <li>Provide CAND operational support Provide grant program and financial oversight related to sponsored research </li> <li>Provide grant program and financial oversight related to sponsored research</li> <li>Prepare monthly expense reports for active grants and affiliate funds</li> <li>Review &amp; process contracts Concur expense management</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Other Job-Related Duties / Special Projects </p> <ul> <li>Manage calendar, meetings, appointments for CAND director</li> <li>Special Projects, including CAND Seminar &amp; Symposia Planning </li> <li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned<br> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Minimum Qualifications</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor&apos;s degree.
