Accounting & Finance Associate Amsterdam Accounting & Finance English the company Our customer is a leading global Japanese holding company. job description This position provides exposure to international investments, real estate, corporate structures, and strategic projects in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment: (1) Accounting & Financial Reporting • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes. • Review bookkeeping records prepared internally and by external service providers. • Assist with preparation of B/S, P/L, C/F and Budget vs Actual reporting • Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors (2) Tax & Compliance • Support corporate tax, VAT, and local compliance activities • Coordinate with external tax advisors and accounting firms • Track filing deadlines and regulatory requirements • Maintain compliance calendars and supporting documentation (3) Corporate Administration • Manage corporate records and statutory documentation • Support entity maintenance for holding companies and SPV's • Coordinate with notaries, corporate service providers, banks, and advisors (4) Investment & Real Estate Support • Assist in financial analysis relating to investment and real estate activities • Monitor cash balances, financing arrangements, and capital movements • Prepare management reports and investment-related analysis (5) Budgeting & Treasury Support • Support annual budgeting and forecasting exercises • Track operating expenses and project expenditures • Assist with treasury administration and banking matters • Monitor foreign exchange exposure and funding requirements (6) Project Management • Coordinate projects involving finance, tax, legal, and external advisors • Prepare materials for management meetings and decision-making • Drive follow-up actions and maintain project trackers (7) Data & Process Improvement • Improve reporting quality and oper...
