Job SummaryJoin our team at the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum. We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of Soldiers and their Families by providing essential support services, including child and youth programs and a variety of recreational activities that directly contribute to Soldier readiness and well-being. This position is located at Outdoor Recreation within the Business and Recreation Division. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will NOT be paid.
QualificationsResumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess one (1) year of experience performing a variety of duties in a customer service or recreation-focused environment. Experience must include: Handling retail sales, booking reservations, and processing payments., AND Assisting guests with recreational equipment and guiding activities or tours., AND Ensuring the safety and accountability of program participants., AND Performing daily administrative tasks, such as reporting on sales and activity levels. Major DutiesDirectly assisting guests by providing information, booking reservations for activities (e.g., tours, lessons), and processing payments for rental items and services.Fitting guests with seasonal recreational equipment (such as skis, snowboards, or bicycles) and facilitating leisure activities and tours.Leading guided tours, which includes operating a shuttle vehicle and providing local area information.Ensuring a safe environment and maintaining accountability for all participants.Preparing daily reports on activity participation, sales transactions, and revenue collection.
