KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Own and drive all direct leisure-related revenues within assigned market segments, ensuring annual revenue and profitability targets are met or exceeded.Willingness to engage with international clients and partners, attending tradeshows, sales missions, and events to attract clients to our cluster (Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana, Santa Teresa MGallery e Sofitel Rio de Janeiro Ipanema);Develop and manage a robust portfolio of key accounts through proactive outside and inside sales activitiesBuild long-term, trusted relationships with high-value clients, ensuring deep account penetration and sustained production;Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities;Negotiate guest room rates and hotel services within established guidelines, ensuring all agreements are documented through formal contracts;Conduct property site inspections and represent the hotels in a manner consistent with luxury brand standards;Accurately forecast bookings, pace and cancellations, maintaining alignment with budgeted revenues;Prepare, execute and manage strategic action plans to solicit and grow transient leisure business;Collaborate closely with internal teams to share market insights, competitive intelligence and emerging trends;Participate in tradeshows, sales missions, client events and promotional activities as required;Ensure prompt, professional and personalized responses to client requests, following through to guarantee guest satisfaction; Actively engage in sales training programs and continuously refine selling skills and market knowledge;Comply with all company policies, procedures and brand guidelines. Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Management, Hospitality Management, or related field;Proven experience in proactive leisure sales within luxury or upscale hospitality;Strong prospecting and business development skills with a solid network in the leisure travel market;Fluent English and Portuguese, written and spoken. French is highly desirable;Excellent negotiation, persuasion and communication skills;Strategic, goal-oriented, and driven by new revenue growth;Ability to work independently while engaging cross-functional teams;Willingness to travel frequently, attending international tradeshows and client events.
