*Cashier/Barista*
Agora Greek Market is looking for a new part time cashier to join our team!
*MUST BE AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS*
Location: 921 Queen St. West - Directly across from Trinity Bellwoods Park
Compensation: $20 an hour + weekly tip out
*Summary of Responsibilities:*
Reporting to the General Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
* Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues * Greet customers, answer menu questions etc. * Prepare and package orders for pick up, take-out and delivery * Prepare and package catering orders * Manage orders coming in through Uber, Ritual and Agora app * Maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilage * Ensure storeroom requisitions are accurate * Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment * Follow all policies, procedures and service standards * Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage * Schedule Mornings, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays * Other duties as assigned
*Qualifications:*
* Previous cashier and customer service experience required * Must be available for a minimum of 3 shifts per week * Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities * Highly responsible & reliable * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment * Ability to work cohesively as part of a team * Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times * Experience expediting catering orders considered an asset
*Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):*
* Constant standing and walking throughout shift * Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs * Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling * Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
