7.5 hr shifts , 1 day till 7 pm , 2 days till 5pm

*Overview *
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental hygiene, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional oral health services while fostering a positive patient experience. Candidates with experience in Dentrix, orthodontics, pediatrics, or bilingual abilities are highly valued. A background in dental assisting and familiarity with medical terminology will be considered advantageous. *Responsibilities*
* Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures * Take and develop dental radiographs as needed * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures * Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software * Provide support with orthodontic or pediatric treatments when necessary * Ensure patient comfort and address any questions or concerns during visits * Follow infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment * Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care plans * Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patients
*Qualifications*
* Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice * Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred * Proficiency with Dentrix or other dental management software is highly desirable * Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is advantageous * Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations * Strong customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care * Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment * Excellent communication skills and attention to detail * Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and safety protocols
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
