Your mission <strong>Job Goals</strong><br><br>• Ensure the timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant procurement of technical components, materials, and services for UAV and aviation systems while meeting operational and regulatory requirements.<br> <br><strong>Key Tasks</strong><br><br>• Procure technical components, assemblies, materials, and services.<br>• Request, evaluate, and negotiate supplier quotations.<br>• Select, manage, and maintain supplier relationships.<br>• Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and lead times.<br>• Support make-or-buy decisions.<br>• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.<br>• Maintain purchasing and supplier data within the ERP system.<br>• Support cost optimization and supply chain risk mitigation activities.<br> <br><strong>Other Tasks</strong><br><br>• Support Engineering with supplier sourcing and technical procurement activities.<br>• Support Production and Operations by ensuring material availability.<br>• Assist with supplier evaluations and performance reviews.<br>• Support engineering change management and material phase-in/phase-out activities.<br>• Contribute to inventory management and stock optimization initiatives.<br> <br><strong>Competencies & Duties</strong><br><br>• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.<br>• Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.<br>• Understanding of quality requirements and documentation practices in regulated industries.<br>• Ability to interpret technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and specifications.<br>• Ensure material availability to support production and development schedules.<br>• Manage supplier performance regarding quality, cost, and delivery.<br>• Support continuous improvement of procurement processes.<br>• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.<br>• Strong negotiation and communication skills.<br>• Structured and proactive working style.<br>• Analytical problem-solving ability.<br>• Strong organizational and coordination skills.<br>• Reliability and attention to detail. Your profile <strong>Qualifications</strong><br><br>• Technical or commercial education, preferably with a technical background.<br>• Experience in technical purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.<br>• Experience in the UAV, aerospace, aviation, electronics, or high-tech industry is an advantage.<br>• Proficiency with ERP systems <br>• Good written and spoken in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
