About this role
Understand business processes across Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Management Information, and Financial Reporting.Identify capability improvements to enhance efficiency and user adoption.Support business users on APEX, Hyperion, and Hyperion Planning applications.Promote best‑practice usage of Hyperion across APAC, EMEA, and UKI regions.Coordinate regional forums and maintain strong relationships with end‑users.Develop and deliver training materials globally with the Finance Academy.Provide user support to maximize value from Global Financial Systems.Manage BAU operations for APAC, EMEA, and UKI user communities.Handle end‑user security setup, access, filters, and user group creation.Administer security for Hyperion EPM and APEX applications.Ensure all security changes are fully authorized.Develop calculation scripts based on business needs.Execute processes for Actuals, Planning, and Forecast cycles.Maintain hierarchy changes, substitution variables, and business rules.Work with Infrastructure to ensure stable and responsive systems.Support assigned projects and initiatives from Global Financial Systems Manager.Assist budgeting and forecasting activities with business teams.Provide first‑line incident support for APEX workflows.Manage half‑yearly Hyperion audits and perform access reviews.Support quarterly security certification cycles.Document systems, processes, audits, and data retention policies.Assist month‑end close by providing required data for reporting and GL details. Possess a Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.Proven work experience with Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, APEX, and Hyperion DRM systems.5 years of Hyperion Development/Support experience in a large global organization.Demonstrated customer service and client-handling experience.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Preferred: Knowledge of reporting systems and financial processes.Ability to work effectively with a virtual team and manage a large number of stakeholders.Excellent ability to transfer knowledge, train, and mentor team members within the company.Experience with Cloud EPM is desirable.Willingness to travel when required.
