About this role
The Vice President, Direct Sales will lead a sales team with a focus on mortgage / home equity lenders and servicers. This leadership role requires management strengths with consistent performance above desired quota goals. You will build and manage a geographically dispersed team and manage its performance in a disciplined, metric-focused environment, strategic manner.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
Develop a sales channel strategy that defines immediate and long-term strategy for success including retaining existing business, extending our partnership into new services and outpacing our competitionAnalyze and anticipate mortgage market dynamics to identify high‑value opportunities, latest client needs, and industry trends that fuel accelerated revenue growth.Build the strategy into monthly, quarterly and annual routines that ensure you achieve goals and engage the team.Collaborate with Sales Ops on comp design, territories, and dashboards; improve productivity and cycle time.Develop a high performance team to include: scouting talent, selection, onboarding, developing and motivating sales team to increase results and high employee engagementCreate a high‑energy, high‑performance sales culture through proactive leadership, coaching, and skill‑building that accelerates individual success, fosters continuous improvement, and inspires collective wins.Hire a diverse team of sales leaders and AEs; set clear expectations, cadences, and enablement plans.Engage with Experian executive sponsorship to ensure C-level relationships.Revenue & Pipeline
Deliver revenue growth exceeding annual budget targetsOversee complex deal execution—pricing, commercial terms, and cross‑sell/upsell motions with executive sponsorship.Establish an operating rhythm that improves win rates and forecast accuracyCreate disciplined territory planning, account segmentation, whitespace mapping, and coverage models.Provide strategic direction and tactical insights to lead accurate, management of Salesforce which resultsin accurate pipeline management, monthly reporting, and team member achievement tracking
Market & Customer Focus
Be an executive sponsor with important mortgage lenders and servicers; deepen relationships across lending, servicing, risk, and operations.Stay ahead of mortgage market trends and translate insights into sales plays and messaging.Partner with Marketing on targeted campaigns and events (MBA, servicing conferences)Partner across Product, Marketing, Technology, and Credentialing to improve the path to revenue, improve client and salesperson experience, and remove barriers that slow deal velocity.Be an expert to engender client confidence and engagement through regular communication that results in improving customer satisfaction and expanding revenues. Desired Experience include:
BS / BA Degree required10+ years of sales experience with a focus on managing high-level, complex client relationships in the mortgage or financial services industryHistory of exceeding performance targetsUnderstanding of credit services, decision analytics, credit decisioning, and credit scoring applicationsExperience maneuvering through obstacles, developing and selling complex solutions • Motivated to coach others to succeed in role and to move careers throughout ExperianDeep network of industry executive contacts within the housing services industryDevelop important strategic plansCreate and communicate proper expectationsWillingness to travel Benefits/Perks:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education.
