Financial Counselor - Patient Registration Responsible for customer service issues related to Patient Registration and Business Office functions. Provides financial counseling to patients on the main campus. Initiates and processes charity applications as appropriate. Accepts payments on accounts from patients. Assists with research, updates and completion of accounts while active in patient processing, as needed. Provides financial counseling to patients both before and after services are rendered. Effectively addresses and resolves patient billing complaints. Works effectively with Registration, Business Office and revenue cycle vendors to ensure facility and corporate standards are met.
