What if it was you? Your mission: As an experienced consultant in our Finance Advisory & Transformation practice, you'll be at the forefront of our Finance Advisory practice's development and implementation strategy. You will play a critical role in delivering to our clients projects in Financial Accounting and Reporting domains. Leveraging your experience as an auditor or accounting officer of a Financial Sector organisation, strong project management skills, and finance analysis background, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide valuable business insights and deliver effective services to our clients. You will help them modernize their finance functions and processes by evaluating emerging technologies, designing AI enabled use cases, and supporting implementation roadmaps. Alongside client work, you will contribute to proposal development, internal thought leadership, and team knowledge building. Be a part of our team where you will: • Assist our clients with run projects and business continuity: • Periodic accounting closing by preparing booking entries or by reviewing the booking entries in the accounting system; • Controls performed when working on the periodic accounting closing; • Ad hoc accounting production analysis; • Preparation of day-to-day deliverables including financial statements and any other financial reporting such as cash reports to the mandators. • Provide strategic guidance to clients, assisting and opening with accounting analysis to ensure compliance; • Support and contribute to transformative projects analysing clients' existing processes and systems, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to address business challenges; • Design and implement solutions tailored to meet clients' financial planning, budgeting, and reporting requirements; • Serve as a point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and effectively managing client expectations throughout the project lifecycle. For example, report results on a regular basis summarising the tasks to be performed and the status of such tasks, developing and maintaining detailed project plans, resource allocation, and timelines; • Oversee project risk assessment and mitigation strategies, ensuring potential roadblocks are identified and addressed proactively; • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in ERP, reporting and consolidation systems equivalent. Let's talk about you. If you… • Have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field with a relevant Master's degree; • Bring min. 4 years of hands-on experience in Financial reporting and/or accounting in the financial sector. A prior Auditor experience is considered as an asset; • Have extensive experience and be familiar with accounting standards such as European Accounting Directive (“EU GAAP”) & IFRS, with any other GAAP considered an asset; • Knowledge of recognised accounting system such as Oracle PeopleSoft will be considered as a significant advantage; • Possess solid knowledge of finance processes, accounting standards, financial reporting and accounting schemes related to financial instruments; • Are advanced in Excel and Financial modelling tools; • Are proficient with Microsoft 365 tools (PowerPoint, PowerBI, Outlook) and comfortable with Copilot/AI enhanced features; • Have an analytical and structured mindset, strong problem solving skills, and a proactive approach to client challenges; • Hold or are pursuing relevant certifications such as CFA, FPA, FPAC, CMA, FMVA, AFM, CFM, MFM, CFMP, ACCA/ACA (valued); • Are fluent in English and French. …You are the candidate we are looking for!
