About this role

The primary purpose of the role, as a member of the Experian Network Operations team, is to provide operational network engineering support and decrease MTTR. You will work with the security, build, and operational teams to maintain a secure network infrastructure to follow stringent Regulatory, Governmental, and Industry security control requirements.

You will approach every day with a collaborative and "team" focused mentality. All while working within ITIL methodology to deliver high-quality incident management, problem resolution and implementation of changes to maintain every aspect of Experian's global network infrastructure.

A technical network background is necessary . The team, work with a variety of manufacturers including Fortinet, Cisco, F5, Citrix and Checkpoint and listed qualifications would be advantageous. Must understand IP, VPN, SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, Switching, Routers, load balancers and Firewalls.

Summary of Primary Responsibilities

Provide direct first line incident support and management, working with internal and external customers and vendors when neededMonitor the network and security systems within a global multi-region, multi-tenant cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on premises environment. Includes Checkpoint and Cisco FWs, Cisco and Arista switches/routers, F5 and Citrix Load Balancers, McAfee and Checkpoint IPS appliances, Incapsula WAFs and moreDocument process and issues with tools like Confluence, Service Now and Visio/Lucid ChartsWork with leadership and other teams to establish processes will reduce MTTI/MTTD/MTTRCreate technical-level communications and gain credibility/trust of internal and external customersMaintain technical knowledge of Network and Cloud technologiesCertificate Lifecycle Management with network load-balancers, security IPS/WAF/Proxy 4 years of validated experience managing network technologies in a large globally diverse environment.Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as NNMi, Thousand Eyes, Grafana, Dynatrace, and Extrahop.Experience with stateful firewalls (Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Fortigate) and packet inspection techniques.Experience commonly deployed WAN technologies and concepts – P2P, MPLS, VRF, Wave, SDWAN, or WAN Optimization.Experience working with Citrix Netscaler or F5 load balancers.Experience with ITIL incident, problem and change management.
