About this vacancy As a Cloud Network Engineer , you’ll play a key role in designing, operating, and optimizing network and security components within a modern private cloud ecosystem. You’ll work closely with platform engineers, architects, and DevOps teams to ensure that cloud‑native network services are robust, secure, and scalable. Your responsibilities will include: Implementing and managing Kubernetes cluster networking and cloud‑native networking services. Managing network security operations across workloads, clusters, and services. Developing and maintaining infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting. Implementing observability solutions to monitor network and infrastructure performance. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable delivery of private cloud services. Supporting operational processes such as incident, change, and problem management. What we expect from you Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations within critical enterprise environments. Strong expertise in private or hybrid cloud environments , especially virtual networking, compute, and storage. Hands‑on experience managing Container Network Interface (CNI) technologies (e.g., CoreDNS, Traefik, Infoblox). Experience with automation & IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency in scripting (Shell, YAML, Python). Experience with monitoring & observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk). Strong understanding of ITSM processes. Strong communication skills in English; Dutch/French/German is a plus. A valid driver’s license and willingness to participate in on‑call rotations.
