About this role
Introduction As a Network Engineer, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable network infrastructures. You ensure optimal connectivity, performance, and scalability across LAN, WAN, and cloud environments, enabling seamless communication for business-critical operations. Your responsibilities include: Designing and configuring network architectures for on-premises and cloud environments. Managing routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting connectivity issues. Implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with standards. Supporting network automation and integration with CI/CD pipelines. Collaborating with system engineers, architects, and security teams. Documenting network configurations and operational procedures. What we expect from you: At least 1 year of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role. If you have more experience, we'll contact you for more experienced roles. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and VLANs. Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles. Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Knowledge of automation tools (Python, Ansible) and monitoring solutions. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Fluent in English and Dutch or French.
