Organize and manage ground transportation logistics for cargo to facilitate smooth transitions between aircraft and storage facilities, coordinating closely with ground handling services. </p> <p>3. Perform the operation and maintenance of cargo handling equipment such as forklifts, cargo loaders, and conveyors to ensure they are safe and functional. </p> <p>Safety and Compliance: <br>4. Adhere strictly to safety regulations in all aspects of cargo handling and storage operations to maintain safe working environment and prevent accidents. </p> <p>5. Conduct thorough inspections of cargo to ensure that all packages are securely packed and comply with transportation regulations, including those for hazardous materials. </p> <p>6. Ensure comprehensive security measures are in place and followed diligently in all cargo areas to prevent unauthorized access and theft. </p> <p>7. Prepare meticulously for regular audits conducted by regulatory authorities, ensuring all practices, documentation, and facilities meet or exceed required standards. </p> <p>Record Keeping and Documentation:<br>8. Keep detailed and accurate records of all cargo movements, to track cargo effectively throughout the logistics chain. </p> <p>9. Document and report any accidents, damage, or unusual incidents that occur during cargo operations, analysing root causes and implementing preventive measures. </p> <p>Stakeholder Management:<br>10. Work closely with airlines, freight forwarders, and logistics companies to schedule cargo operations efficiently, optimizing the flow of goods through the airport. </p> <p>11. Respond promptly to queries from shippers and consignees regarding the status and handling of their cargo, providing accurate information and resolving issues swiftly. </p> <p>12.
