Headquartered in Switzerland since late 2018, with sites in Sweden, Taiwan, and the United States.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><b>Job Overview</b></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><span style="">Production Technicians (PT) will be a key team members in supporting the startup and continued success of the Device Assembly Operations at a newly constructed state-of-the-art facility located in North Charleston SC. The PT will be front line technician responsible for daily operation and maintenance of our fully automated assembly equipment. The Production Technicians primary responsibility will be to ensure our Fully Automated Assembly Machines are operating with minimal waste and as efficiently as possible. This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development, including the chance to undergo training at our facility in Taiwan </span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><b>Main Responsibilities</b></span></span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span style=""><span style="">Demonstrate a Safety-First mindset and follow all Safety Policies and Procedures</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Operate in accordance with all pre-established Quality Policies and Procedures</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Analyze machine performance using data as well as mechanical knowledge to pro-actively address machine issues </span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Communicate all line performance issues to the Lead Production Technician (LPT) assigned to your line and escalate to next level support when needed</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Appropriately manage your line of responsibility to ensure the maximum OEE is achieved each shift</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Perform daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual PMs as required to ensure that your line of responsibility remains reliable and in optimal condition</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Pro-actively make suggestions for Safety, Quality, and Production improvements</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Assist other production lines or departments in the plant, as needed</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Ensure operations and practices comply with established procedures and records</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Ensure in-process tests and inspections are performed in accordance with standard procedures</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Analyze and solve complex operational issues to minimize impact to overall performance of the operation</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Constantly improve technical knowledge of the assembly equipment for which you are responsible </span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Support installation, and validation of new manufacturing equipment as needed</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Serve as project member or project leader on improvement programs as needed </span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Willing to voluntarily take on additional task and responsibilities, as needed, to ensure the continued success of style=""><span style="">1-3 years of operating complex automated manufacturing equipment (Preferred)</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Strong Desire to learn and grow your career in the Medical Device Manufacturing Industry </span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Demonstrated knowledge of basic mechanical concepts </span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Demonstrated ability to work as an effective member of a successful team</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Ability to troubleshoot and correct routine mechanical issues</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Ability to learn and use various computer systems daily (SAP, MES, etc…)</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Prior experience within an automated high speed high volume manufacturing facility (Preferred)</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Prior knowledge of highly automated manufacturing equipment (Preferred)</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Technical knowledge of Servos, Cams, Conveyance Systems, Motors, Gears, Pumps, etc… (Highly Preferred)</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Conceptual knowledge of vision systems, sensors, drives, etc… (Preferred)</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Prior experience in highly regulated industry (Preferred)</span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style="">Ability to accurately document variable production and machine data into an Electronic Device History Record, as required and
