The IT Finance Competence Center (FICC) is responsible for delivering and governing enterprise finance solutions, ensuring standardized processes, system integration, and scalable capabilities across the organization. The team plays a critical role in supporting global finance operations, digital transformation, and compliance with corporate governance standards. The SAP Functional Sr Analyst (FI/CO Focus) is a key member of the FICC team in SHL Medical's global IT organization, responsible for supporting, enhancing, and driving SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling capabilities across regions. This role acts as a subject matter expert for SAP FI-related global initiatives while also supporting CO-related process alignment, system enhancements, rollouts, and continuous improvement activities. This role helps standardize finance and controlling processes, strengthen cross-regional alignment, and enable scalable business operations at a global level. Main Responsibilities SAP Finance Operations Support finance daily operations within SAP and other supporting digital systems, including period-end and year-end closing activities on a global level. Provide expert-level support for SAP FI modules (AP/AR/GL/AA) and solid functional support for SAP CO processes, with general understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes. Ensure financial posting accuracy, general ledger integrity, and alignment between FI and CO processes, including costing-related support where applicable. System Enhancement & Solution Delivery Drive and support global SAP FI/CO enhancement and rollout initiatives by coordinating requirements, testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication across regions. Evaluate, shape, and implement enhancement/change requests raised by global and local business stakeholders, providing process solutions aligned with SAP best practices and enterprise standards. Contribute to global solution and process design discussions to ensure SAP FI/CO solutions are practical, scalable, well-aligned with business requirements, and effectively implemented across sites. Support data migration activities as part of system implementation or upgrade initiatives. Promote harmonized SAP FI/CO processes by identifying regional gaps, facilitating alignment with global templates, and supporting adoption of standardized solutions. User Support & Training Provide user training for both daily operations and newly deployed enhancement projects. Contribute to ongoing support across other SAP modules based on business needs. Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Management Drive global continuous improvement initiatives for finance processes, identifying automation, standardization, and efficiency opportunities across business units. Administrate and support OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) integration with SAP. Manage SAP Concur administration as needed. Maintain strong communication across regional business units, global IT teams, and external vendors; support prioritization and delivery coordination for SAP FI/CO-related global initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications Mandatory (Must — max 5): 8+ years of experience supporting SAP FI/CO modules, including GL/AP/AR/AA, SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting configuration, and CO processes such as cost center accounting, internal orders, profit center accounting, and product costing. Experience supporting global SAP FI/CO enhancement and roll-out initiatives in a multinational environment, including requirements gathering, testing coordination, stakeholder communication, and cross-regional alignment. Good understanding of OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and its integration with SAP. Ability to review SAP technical logic and support issue analysis by interpreting ABAP code and debugging. Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to drive alignment across global and regional stakeholders in a matrix organization. Desirable (Nice to Have): General knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain. Experience with SAP Concur. Experience working with formal project delivery processes is a plus. Exposure to global process harmonization initiatives in an international or matrix organization is a plus. Relevant Qualification / Education & Training Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. SAP certification or relevant SAP training is a plus. Language Skills Mandatory (Must): Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese. Additional language skills are a plus. Desirable (nice to have) Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA CO and PS modules. Proven experience working in multinational corporations within matrix organizational structures. Knowledge of data migration, reporting, and analytics tools. SAP certifications and familiarity with project management tools.
