<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Liaise with external suppliers on product specifications, technical drawings, and product-related issues.</li> <li>Provide production support and troubleshooting for existing products, including assisting with end-of-life (EOL) component management and offering engineering support to SEMI/laser production lines for Project Hermes and Project Artemis.</li> <li>Design and optimize electrical and electronic systems for semiconductor and laser products to ensure high performance and reliability.</li> <li>Develop, analyze, and test circuits for optical systems, including power supplies, control units, and signal processing components.</li> <li>Re-engineer existing designs to reduce costs while maintaining quality and performance standards.</li> <li>Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve Design for Manufacturability (DFM) processes, ensuring efficient and scalable production.</li> <li>Provide technical support to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and consistent product quality.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and profitability in laser system designs and production processes.</li> <li> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (BEng) or equivalent qualification.</li> <li>3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical circuit and PCB layout design, preferably in the semiconductor or precision engineering industry.</li> <li>Proficient in the use of standard electronic test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, function generators, laboratory power supplies, and digital multimeters.</li> <li>Experienced in designing electronic schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, or equivalent platforms.</li> <li>Working knowledge of IPC standards and their application in PCB design and manufacturing processes.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and reliability.</li> <li>Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li> <li>Strong manufacturing excellence mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality, cost-efficient, and on-time products.</li> <li>Hands-on experience and knowledge in FMEA and relevant Six Sigma methodologies.</li> <li>Good knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and AS9100D.</li> <li>Basic understanding and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.</li> </ul>
