Reporting to the Sector Head – Real Estate, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing infrastructure performance, enhancing workplace experiences, and ensuring the effective stewardship of the Group’s facilities assets.</p> <p>If you are a visionary leader with a strong track record of managing multi-site operations, leading high-performing teams, and delivering strategic facilities initiatives, we invite you to apply.</p> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <p>As General Manager – Group Facilities, you will:</p> <h3>Strategic Leadership</h3> <ul> <li>Develop and execute a comprehensive Group-wide facilities management strategy aligned with business objectives.</li> <li>Drive long-term infrastructure planning, workplace optimization, asset sustainability, and operational excellence initiatives.</li> <li>Establish and maintain governance frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices across all facilities operations.</li> </ul> <h3>Operational &amp; Team Leadership</h3> <ul> <li>Lead and inspire facilities teams across multiple locations and territories.</li> <li>Build organizational capability through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and talent development.</li> <li>Champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, customer service, and operational excellence.</li> </ul> <h3>Financial &amp; Commercial Management</h3> <ul> <li>Oversee the Group Facilities operating and capital budgets.</li> <li>Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining high service standards.</li> <li>Review and approve major facilities expenditures, procurement initiatives, contracts, and vendor partnerships.</li> </ul> <h3>Asset &amp; Infrastructure Management</h3> <ul> <li>Lead preventative maintenance programs and asset lifecycle management strategies.</li> <li>Oversee major capital projects, infrastructure upgrades, and facilities improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Ensure facilities assets remain reliable, efficient, and aligned with business requirements.</li> </ul> <h3>Stakeholder &amp; Customer Management</h3> <ul> <li>Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on facilities strategy, performance, risk, and investment decisions.</li> <li>Partner with business leaders to ensure facilities services support operational effectiveness and business continuity.</li> <li>Drive exceptional service delivery and workplace experiences across the organization.</li> </ul> <h3>Health, Safety &amp; Compliance</h3> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Lead risk management, emergency preparedness, and business continuity planning initiatives.</li> <li>Promote a strong culture of safety and operational resilience across the Facilities Division.</li> </ul> <h2>What We&apos;re Looking For</h2> <p>The ideal candidate will possess:</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor&apos;s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, Property Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.</li> <li>A Master&apos;s Degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field would be considered an asset.</li> <li>A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive facilities management experience, including at least five (5) years in a senior leadership role.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-site and regional facilities operations.</li> <li>Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, capital planning, cost control, and executive reporting.</li> <li>Proven ability to lead large teams, influence stakeholders, and drive strategic change.</li> <li>Professional certification such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM), IFMA, BIFM, or equivalent would be an asset.</li> </ul> <h2>Key Competencies</h2> <ul> <li>Strategic Leadership</li> <li>Executive Communication &amp; Stakeholder Management</li> <li>Facilities &amp; Infrastructure Planning</li> <li>Financial Management &amp; Budget Control</li> <li>Customer Service Excellence</li> <li>Risk Management &amp; Regulatory Compliance</li> <li>Vendor &amp; Contract Negotiation</li> <li>Operational Improvement</li> <li>Team Leadership &amp; Talent Development</li> </ul> <h2>Why Join Us?</h2> <p>This is an opportunity to play a critical leadership role within a dynamic organization where facilities management is viewed as a strategic business function.
