<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">External Job Description</H2> </div><div><p>Qualification</p> <p>- Bachelor/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)<br> - Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety & Health or Post Diploma in Industrial Safety & Health.<br> - Diploma in Environment Management</p> <p>Experience: 5-6 Years</p> <p>Risk Assessment and Hazard Management:<br> - Conduct regular risk assessments along with the Cross-function Team (CFT) of work areas to identify hazards and unsafe conditions.<br> - Implement control measures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.<br> - Monitor and enforce adherence to safety protocols and procedures during shifts.<br> Incident Response and Investigation:<br> - Respond promptly to incidents, accidents, and near misses during shifts.<br> - Conduct thorough investigations to determine root causes and contributing factors.<br> - Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.<br> EHS Training and Awareness:<br> - Facilitate EHS training sessions for shift personnel, including new hires and contractors.<br> - Promote awareness of safety procedures and best practices among shift teams.<br> - Encourage active participation in safety initiatives and campaigns.<br> Compliance Monitoring:<br> - Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, standards, and company policies during shifts.<br> - Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify non-compliance issues.<br> - Take corrective actions to address identified deficiencies and improve overall compliance.<br> Emergency Preparedness:<br> - Assist in the development and implementation of On-Site Emergency Plans for shift operations.<br> - Conduct Mock Drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of emergency procedures.<br> - Coordinate with emergency response teams and external agencies during actual emergencies.<br> Safety Reporting and Documentation:<br> - Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and corrective actions taken during shifts.<br> - Prepare and submit shift-specific EHS reports to Site EHS Managers as required.<br> - Ensure proper documentation of safety-related activities and procedures.<br> Equipment and Facility Safety:<br> - Inspect and ensure the proper functioning of safety equipment and systems during shifts.<br> - Identify maintenance needs and report any equipment malfunctions or deficiencies.<br> - Monitor compliance with safety guidelines for the use of machinery, tools, and other equipment.<br> Communication and Coordination:<br> - Communicate effectively with shift supervisors, team leaders, and other personnel regarding EHS issues.<br> - Collaborate with other departments to address cross-functional safety concerns and initiatives.<br> - Serve as a point of contact for EHS-related inquiries and concerns during shifts.<br> Continuous Improvement:<br> - Identify opportunities for enhancing EHS performance and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.<br> - Implement initiatives to reduce workplace hazards, improve safety practices, and enhance employee engagement.<br> - Participate in EHS meetings, committees, and projects to contribute ideas and feedback for improvement.<br> Emergency Response Team Membership:<br> - Actively participate as a member of the site's emergency response team, if applicable.<br> - Receive specialized training and fulfil designated roles and responsibilities during emergency situations.</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Competencies</H2> </div><div><div>Adapting to Change</div><div>Communicating Effectively</div><div>Critical Thinking</div><div>Interacting with People at Different Levels</div><div>Solving Complex Problems</div></div></div></div>
