What You’ll Do: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Compile and maintain documentation, i.e. checking standards & weights, etc.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Collect and analyze samples for quality control.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Identify and report recurring quality issues and suggest improvements.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Use measuring tools like scales, calipers and product standards & utilize advanced measuring tools like micrometers, CMMs, digital gauges and statistical sampling methods.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Conduct routine tests to ensure products meet specifications and record inspection and test data accurately.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Maintain logs, reports, and other documentation for compliance and traceability.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Verify conditions meet established specifications.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Support programs and policies to ensure products are safe, legal, wholesome and meet specifications.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Report deviations or non-conformances to supervisors</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Participate in team meetings and training sessions.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Work closely with production, maintenance, and QA teams to resolve quality issues.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Complete any other duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Notify supervisor immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are discovered. </li> </ul> What You’ll Bring: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">1-3 year prior related experience and/or training, preferred.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Math and measurement skills, ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardizations exist</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Computer skills for data entry purposes</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Familiarity with quality standards and inspection techniques</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Understanding of customer specifications</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">HAACP Certification, preferred</li> </ul> Lakeside Foods and our family of companies welcomes people of all backgrounds and the varied ideas they bring to the workplace.
