About this role
<p>The job-holder will be accountable for providing pre-sales consultancy services in Cloud Computing, Server & Storage solutions design by working closely with internal departments and external partners. The major responsibilities include:</p> <p><strong>The Job</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide pre-sales consultancy services to corporate customers by understanding and translating business needs into technical requirements</li> <li>Perform solutions design and conduct proof of concept of proposed solutions focusing on Cloud Computing (IaaS & SaaS), Server & Storage solutions design according to corporate customers’ needs in the area of Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), Server & Storage, Virtualization, HCI and Backup Solution</li> <li>Prepare sales proposal / tender response and present the proposed solutions to customer</li> <li>Work closely with sales team to drive business and engage in the whole selling cycle</li> </ul> <p><strong>The Person</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree holder in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related disciplines</li> <li>At least 5 years’ working experience in system design and integration, preferably with system implementation experience</li> <li>Professional certification on AWS, Microsoft (Azure / O365), Google Cloud, or VMware is an advantage</li> <li>Solid knowledge and project experience on: <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li>Public Cloud: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud</li> <li>SaaS: Microsoft 365 (Office 365)</li> <li>Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V</li> <li>Backup and DR solutions: Veeam, VMware SRM, Mircrosoft ASR</li> </ul> </li> <li>Knowledge in any of the below area would be an advantage <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li>Infrastructure: LAN/WAN Networking, security</li> <li>Services: MS Exchange, Active Directory</li> <li>OS Platform: Windows, Linux</li> <li>Managed Services</li> <li>Container & Cloud Automation</li> </ul> </li> <li>Self-motivated with good presentation and communication skill</li> <li>Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese </li> </ul>
