The incumbent needs to work to incorporate cost efficient methods for the MRO of various Hydraulic components or systems in various stages of their service life. Usually work under direction of Head of Department.</span></strong></p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Job Description:</span></strong></p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Deliver Hydraulic support services including but not limited to the followings:</span></strong></p> <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:0.0px"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Provide engineering support to proprietary and non-proprietary products.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Conduct failure investigation and prepares reports for problems or issues based on findings from facts, research, studies and makes necessary recommendations and submits to relevant authority for approval.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Prepares and studies technical drawings, specifications of hydraulic systems inclusive of cylinders, pumps & motors and scope of work to ensure MRO operations conform to standards and customers' requirements.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Documents work procedures based on technical requirements for the MRO components.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Analyse and interpret test information to resolve repaired problems.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Training, planning, assigning, and directing of work to a group of technicians; appraising, addressing complaints and resolving problems.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Appoint to be lead for a platform to ensure that MRO Component serviceability is met at all times.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Incumbent will also be assigned to prepare and propose proactive approaches to new capability build ups.</span></strong></li> </ul> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Job Requirements:</span></strong></p> <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:0.0px"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Degree in Mechanical engineering with 2 year of working experience related to Hydraulic fields or MRO Services.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Diploma in Mechanical engineering with 5 years of working experience related to Hydraulic fields or MRO Services.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Certified Reliability Engineer will be an added advantage.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Able to read and understand hydraulic circuit drawings.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Possess good interpersonal skills and strong ability to work within a team.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Perform literature searches on the subject area for MRO in hydraulic system especially in cylinders, pumps & motors.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Able to assist in providing technology solutions to overcome more complex MRO systems so to allow work focuses upon the effective integration of people, processes, tools and technology in order to improve the MRO into the next level.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Good interpersonal & communication skills.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Ability to present ideas, approach and objectives clearly.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Work under pressure, independent and self-motivated.</span></strong></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">The ability to be a good listener and understand customers' problems or queries and assist them to resolve.</span></strong><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif"> </span></li> </ul>
