<p style="margin:6.0pt 0.0cm 8.0pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif"><strong>Key Job Accountabilities:</strong></p> <ul style="margin-top:6.0pt;margin-bottom:8.0pt"> <li style="margin:6.0pt 0.0cm 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Responsible for assessment of the technologies for Dual-Use applications technology areas (in particular Nuclear Fission and Fusion, Synthetic Biology).</li> <li style="margin:6.0pt 0.0cm 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">A<span style="color:black;background-color:white">ctive management of projects, and key performance indicators.</span> Including <span style="color:black;background-color:white">across multiple business units to achieve strategic goals.</span></li> <li style="margin:6.0pt 0.0cm 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Establish a supporting R&D ecosystem including local and global start-ups, technology vendors, Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), Research Institutes (RIs) and relevant governmental agencies to demonstrate strategic and innovative solutions.</li> <li style="margin:6.0pt 0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Co-ordinate and manage strategic planning of R&D efforts, including the organisation of various meetings and fora that foster relationships with business units and partners.<span style="color:#111111;background-color:white"> </span></li> <li style="margin:6.0pt 0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="color:black;background-color:white">Communicate with senior leadership on technology</span> <span style="color:black;background-color:white">trends and roadmaps, application to business and/or any other matters of importance to the organisation as part of the Group Technology Office.</span></li> </ul> <p style="margin:6.0pt 0.0cm 8.0pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif"><strong>Required Experience and Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul style="margin-top:6.0pt;margin-bottom:0.0cm"> <li style="margin:6.0pt 0.0cm 8.0pt 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:105%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Degree or advanced degree in engineering with a deep understanding of technological applications.</li> <li style="margin:6.0pt 0.0cm 8.0pt 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:105%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Knowledge of Nuclear Fission and/or Fusion is a plus.
