plant has the right number and type of talent to execute plant strategy and achieve desired business results; ensures plant establishes and maintains a positive work environment and operates as “One Corning” in support of Corning’s values; assists in successful implementation of global HR business processes within the plant; and ensures plant compliance with HR-related legal and regulatory talent required to execute plant strategy and achieve desired business results </span><br><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">o Ensures plant realizes required levels of employee productivity and performance excellence required to execute plant strategy and achieve desired business results. </span><br><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">o Ensures plant establishes and maintains a positive work environment and operates as “One Company” in support of Company’s Values.</span><br><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">o Ensures the successful implementation of global HR business processes within the plant.</span><br><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">o Ensures plant compliance with HR-related legal and regulatory guidelines. </span><br><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">o Establishes HR infrastructure for brownfield manufacturing site in alignment with Company policies/procedures/culture</span><br><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">o Establishes and maintains a presence on the plant floor to keep a read on the pulse of the organization </span><br><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">o Proactively identifies and resolves employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner that protects the needs of the plant to operate in an effective and efficient manner</span><br><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">o Manages and mitigates employee grievances by ensuring supervisors and leadership are creating an open forum for discussion and resolution of plant issues</span><br><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">o Demonstration of leadership and management practices required to establish and maintain a positive work environment</span><br><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">o Takes ownership for specific HR initiatives that support the effective operations of the organization by developing and/or delivering HR programs.</span><br><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">o Identifies employee value proposition issues affecting turnover and works with Plant HR Manager to identify actions for improvement</span><br><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Full time MBA or Post gradation in HR.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">12-15 years work experience in a manufacturing organization in India.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Strong interpersonal skills – able to build trust quickly with employees at multiple levels in the organization</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Solid technical understanding of HR and ER.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Track record of delivering tangible business impact.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Strong business acumen – an interest in and ability to learn the business, understand business drivers, etc.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial,
