The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.</span></p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Role Purpose</H2> </div><div><p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">We are seeking a Backend Developer to support and enhance our corporate intranet built on the <strong>Akumina platform</strong>, integrated with <strong>SharePoint Online</strong> and Microsoft 365. While prior Akumina experience is a plus, <strong>we will provide training in Akumina</strong> for the right candidate.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">This role is ideal for a developer with proven experience supporting and maintaining <strong>enterprise intranet backend systems</strong>, integrations, and services, who is eager to learn and grow on the Akumina platform.</span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Key Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Support, maintain, and enhance backend services for our enterprise intranet</li> <li>Develop and manage integrations with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise systems</li> <li>Work with SharePoint Online APIs, Microsoft Graph, and REST services</li> <li>Assist in the development and customization of Akumina apps, widgets, and data providers (training provided)</li> <li>Ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability of backend components</li> <li>Support authentication and authorization using Azure AD / Entra ID</li> <li>Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions</li> <li>Participate in deployments, upgrades, and environment configurations</li> <li>Collaborate with frontend developers, UX designers, and business stakeholders</li> <li>Create and maintain technical documentation and operational support procedures</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Experiences/Education -
