<p style="text-align:center"><span style="font-size:18.0pt"><strong>Group Leader Trainee – Paint (2nd Shift)</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align:center"><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong><em>Manufacturing Department</em></strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Outline of duties:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Demonstrates a positive role model for all Associates to promote each Team Member’s success.</li> <li>Maintains familiarity with all job duties and skill levels of all Team Members and monitors events that may affect Team performance.</li> <li>Responsible for the assessment and development of each Team Member’s performance.</li> <li>Understands, teaches, and promotes the SIA Production System to all Team leaders and Team Members.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with all Company Policies and procedures and take appropriate corrective actions, if necessary.</li> <li>Aligns leadership styles to that of SIA’s Principles and values.</li> <li>Plans, monitors, and leads activities according to Plant and Section goals related to Safety, Quality, and productivity.</li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned by the Group Leader’s Manager(s).</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> <strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Certificate/Associate Degree in Organizational Leadership or related field.</li> <li>4+ years Supervisory/Leadership experience.</li> <li>Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)</li> <li>Must be willing to give and take direction.</li> <li>Demonstrated problem solving ability.</li> <li>Ability to lead, motivate, and hold self and others accountable.</li> <li>Demonstrate behaviors which require initiative and self-motivation.</li> <li>Ability to treat others with Dignity and Respect.</li> <li>Ability to give presentation to officers of the company.</li> <li>Ability to lead Kaizen/Continuous improvement activities.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>BS Degree in Organizational Leadership or related field.</li> <li>Experience in an Automotive Manufacturing Environment.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong><em>Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to employing a diverse workforce.</em></strong></p>
