Chart is looking for bright, talented candidates that have a desire for a career in an exciting and evolving industry. </p> <p>Chart Industries is currently seeking an on-site Senior Project Manager based in Beasley, TX to will manage the efficient operation of your assigned projects, ensuring delivery of on-time products built to the specification, while maintaining or improving cash flow and margins. You will secure project execution and scheduling processes to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery. This will also include managing the Chart-Client relationship to build the necessary rapport and credibility to assist in the successful delivery of engineered-to-order projects.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>What Will You Do?</b></i></H2> </div><div><p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:<br>• Plan, organize, and direct the work of several projects in the coordination of efforts of the various functions (engineering, quality, document control, purchasing, fabrication, warehouse, shipping/logistics, etc.) and client needs<br>• Analyze purchase order and coordinate with client representative to determine best approach<br>• Isolate potential problem areas and develops plan for solution<br>• Prepare change orders, cost estimates and schedules<br>• Maintain coordination with all functions (engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, etc.) to assure timeliness, efficiency and high quality of work<br>• Review, monitor and maintain monthly project schedules, budgets and operating reports<br>• Prepare invoice requests in a timely manner<br>• Expedite receipt of invoice payments from clients<br>• Maintain liaison with client representative to assure project is progressing satisfactorily<br>• Maintain project files on current projects<br>• Prepare lessons learned and post-project review materials, maintaining and organizing project files, records, and documentation, preparing project status reports, meeting minutes, and action item lists<br>• Ensure all project documentation is current and stored according to company policies<br>• Assist with project closeout processes, ensuring that all documentation is complete and accurate<br>• Identify and improve processes for continuous improvement<br>• Advise client of the most technically feasible approach to achieving project goals<br>• Influence clients decisions such that it is consistent with overall good engineering and manufacturing practices <br>• Review work for adherence to company standards of excellence and compliance with clients requirements<br>• Ensure timely shipment<br>• Review designs for most cost effective means of fabrication</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…</b></i></H2> </div><div><p>WORKING CONDITIONS:<br>• Indoor<br>• Outdoor in facility, fabrication shop and sometimes on customer site</p> <p>REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHILE IN THE SHOPS:<br>• Safety Glasses<br>• Steel Toe Shoes (when needed)<br>• Ear Plugs (when needed)<br>• Gloves (when needed)<br>• Face Shield (when needed)<br>• Tyvek Coveralls (optional)<br>• Sports Belt (optional)</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>Your Experience Should Be...</b></i></H2> </div><div><p>Education: <br>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Chemical), Project Management, Business Administration, or related field</p> <p>Experience:<br>• 10 years in engineering, designing, or manufacturing of air-cooled heat exchangers or 5 years’ experience with a master’s in Engineering, Design or Manufacturing of air-cooled heat exchangers<br>• At least two years of experience in project management and scheduling, including familiarity with the Critical Path Method (CPM)<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint<br>• Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, PowerBI, WorkDay, SmartSheet, JDE, SAP, Primavera P6 is preferred</p> <p>Skills Required (i.e. certifications, licenses, registrations, etc.):<br>• Strong technical, organizational and communication skills<br>• PMP certification is preferred<br>• Tech savvy<br>• Detail oriented<br>• Critical thinking skills</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS - MUST BE ABLE TO DO THE FOLLOWING:<br>• Ability to complete formal training in area of specialty<br>• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures <br>• Ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job<br>• Ability to work without supervision<br>• Ability to work in a fast paced environment <br>• Ability to understand the sense of urgency</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>Our Benefits Package...</b></i></H2> </div><div></div></div></div>
