<p><br><strong>RWE Americas, LLC</strong><br><strong>To start as soon as possible, full time, permanent</strong><br><br><strong>Functional area:</strong> Health, Safety & Environment<br><strong>Remuneration: </strong>Exempt</p> <p> </p><p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The <strong>HSSE Project Execution Manager </strong>ensures the health, safety, security, and environmental compliance of all colleagues and business partners across construction projects, development, and operational sites. Supports and implements the HSSE management system, processes, and programs while driving adherence to environmental and regulatory requirements. Partners with Sr. Project Execution Associates nationwide to advance consistent HSSE standards. Manages contractor HSSE performance through scoring, quarterly performance reviews, and trend analysis, best practice implementation, and lessons learned integration. Facilitates investigations and root cause analyses, and tracks and reports daily, weekly, and monthly activities and non-conformances. Operates independently and with integrity to achieve departmental KPIs and HSSE targets. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Role Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Leads execution of multi-site HSSE projects, including targeted audits, construction assessments, and new initiative rollouts</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Provides technical expertise and field-level consultation to cross-functional teams during the planning and execution of high-risk work (e.g., energization, crane lifts, confined space entry)</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Promotes and ensures the health and safety of all employees, contractors, and subcontractors when working on RWECE facilities and projects</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Drives continuous improvement in HSSE within all operations, project execution, and functional departments of the company</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Frequently travels to facilities and projects within the assigned region; greater than 50% of the time</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Conducts investigations, prepares & submits reports and updates to the KPA Flex system</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Partners with Project Execution and Engineering on the development of Corrective Actions for incidents and events through closure</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maintains, monitors, and reports HSSE performance metrics, statistics, records, and injury reports (OSHA 300) in a timely manner, using automated record-keeping systems for the assigned region</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Performs and documents Wind/Solar/Battery Operations, Project Execution audits, inspections, and technical assessments/observations</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Leads the implementation and monitoring of HSSE programs across a portfolio of sites within a designated region or technology type</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Coordinates the delivery of HSSE training on topics such as lockout/tagout, confined space entry, working at heights, and hazard communication</span></li> </ul> <p style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> </p> <p><strong>Job Requirements and Experiences: </strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">An associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Construction Safety, and/or Environmental Science, or a related field, is required</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">A professional certification is preferred</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">A minimum of 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable; other factors will be taken into consideration</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">A minimum of 5 years of HSSE experience applicable to the construction of power generation and related facilities (Wind/Solar/Battery) is required</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Working knowledge of federal OSHA and EPA, state OSHA/EPA, and labor standards for General and Construction industries, as well as the general principles of Industrial Safety and Industrial Hygiene</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Specific knowledge of local and state safety and environmental regulations is desirable</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Proficiency with MS Office Suite, project implementation, and safety platforms</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Develops and deploys HSSE programs across operational regions, acting as subject matter expert on safe work practices, project planning, and risk mitigation for complex field operations</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Effectively engages peers from all levels of the organization to
