RWE Americas, LLC To start as soon as possible, full time, permanent Functional area: Operations & Maintenance Remuneration: Non-Exempt The Solar Farm Technician I performs preventative and corrective maintenance for all scopes of an operating power plant, including civil, mechanical, and electrical inspection and repair. The Solar Farm Technician I monitors the solar power plant’s availability and ensures mechanical and electrical maintenance is being performed when necessary to maintain established safety and operating targets. Responsible for executing daily scheduling philosophy, utilizing a prioritized list of work provided by planning with a focus on maximizing generation and ensuring proactive work is prioritized and completed. This job also maintains accountability and readiness of plant tools, equipment, and vehicles; provides technical guidance to the O&M team; tracks and maintains records of service activities both scheduled and unscheduled through the digital maintenance management system; and helps maintain the work ethic and culture of the plant O&M team.
