This is a remote role, ideally looking for candidates near a major airport.</p> <p>This position has primary responsibility to support the various SICK Services and Products throughout North America.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Key Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Provide amazing customer service by effectively managing customer expectations.</li> <li>Support various Services Organization programs.</li> <li>Build support structures and populate with SICK equipment. Requires the use of hand tools and basic construction knowledge.</li> <li>Make electrical connections of SICK equipment.</li> <li>Configure SICK products utilizing laptop and configuration software.</li> <li>Provide onsite commissioning of installed equipment following established criteria.</li> <li>Perform onsite start up support, monitor installed equipment for proper operation, and adjust as needed.</li> <li>Able to properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and replace SICK equipment.</li> <li>Provide accurate and timely service reports, timecards, and travel expenses.</li> <li>Attend required training sessions as assigned.</li> <li>Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Key Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li><strong>Experience</strong>: 0–3 years of prior field service experience.</li> <li><strong>Education</strong>: Two-year college degree, technical school or equivalent work experience required; four-year college degree preferred.</li> <li><strong>Certifications</strong>: None required.</li> <li><strong>Position-specific Qualifications</strong>: <ul> <li>This is a travel position and will require domestic and international travel upwards of 90% of time.</li> <li>Available to work alternative schedules including weekends, nights, and on-call hours.</li> <li>Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Successfully attend and complete logistics automation initial product boot camp training class.</li> <li>Complete assigned SICK training (LMS, SIA-Online, On-the-job). Successfully install, static test, and commission a minimum of at least two single line fixed depth of field scanners, two single line auto-focus scanners, and two CDM module CLV based master/slave scanner systems.</li> <li>Technical learning: working knowledge of SOPAS and CLV Setup engineering software; ability to write simple evaluation conditions and output format expressions; receive on-the-job training from senior technicians; complete assigned core positional tasks and obtain site lead qualification book endorsements; complete Cornerstone SICK U or Mosaic site training classes.</li> <li>Ability to read basic CAD designs, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Demonstrated ability to complete administrative job requirements (expense reports, daily reports, PMI’s, etc.).</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to assemble scanner system 80/20 frames. Ability to work in a team environment with senior technicians.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Computer/Technological</strong>: Working knowledge of SOPAS and CLV Setup engineering software; ability to configure products using a laptop and configuration software; ability to read basic CAD designs and schematics; capable of completing administrative tasks in expense and daily reporting systems.</li> <li><strong>Language</strong>: Professional written and spoken fluency in English required.</li> <li><strong>Schedule</strong>: Generally Monday to Friday, full time; be on-call on some weekends (if required).</li> <li><strong>Travel</strong>: Upwards of 90% domestic and international travel, must have a valid passport</li> <li><strong>Work Status</strong>: Legally permitted to work in the country you are applying and willing to undergo an employment background check.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Compensation</b></H2> </div><div><p>The base salary is one part of our Total Rewards package and is determined within a range. The starting base salary range for this position is listed below; the actual starting salary will be based on a variety of factors including experience, skill set, education, performance, licenses/certifications, business needs and other job-related factors, as permitted by law.</p> <ul> <li><strong>Starting Base Annual Salary Range</strong>: $46,480 - $69,025</li> </ul></div></div></div>
