About this role

Company: Revolution Medicines (RevMed) is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

Position Overview: The Executive Director or Vice President, Global Privacy is a senior leader responsible for driving the organization’s global privacy strategy, governance, and compliance framework. This role ensures that all business activities involving personal data are conducted ethically and in compliance with applicable international laws, regulations, and industry standards. Reporting to the Vice President, Compliance, this role serves as a key advisor to the General Counsel and other senior executives on global privacy, data protection, and responsible data use, while fostering a culture of privacy-by-design across all business functions worldwide.

Experience: J.D. degree with 15+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, legal, compliance, or risk management.

Location/Relo: Flexible, depending on experience. RevMed wishes to undertake a global search to seek top talent for this critical role. This role may be performed remotely in the U.S. with regular travel to Redwood City, CA, or may be based in the UK, Germany, or Switzerland.

Compensation: The base salary range for this full-time position is $311,000 to $383,000 for candidates working onsite at RevMed’s headquarters in Redwood City, California. The range displayed is intended to be the salary for an individual working onsite in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market in which a candidate is based. Please note that base salary is one part of the overall total rewards program at RevMed, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities.

Bar: U.S. candidates - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school is required. E.U. candidates - law degree strongly preferred.
