Position: Treasury SpecialistPay: $45,000-55,000/yrDescriptionThe Treasury Specialist supports the organization’s day-to-day cash management and financial operations across a multi-location environment. This role ensures accurate cash positioning, timely bank reconciliations, and efficient movement of funds to support ongoing operations. The position partners closely with accounting, operations, and finance teams to maintain visibility into cash flow and reduce risk across the business.Key Responsibilities:Monitor daily cash balances across multiple bank accounts and entities to ensure accurate cash positioningSupport daily cash receipts, deposits, and disbursements, including credit card settlements and electronic paymentsPerform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy of financial recordsAssist with cash forecasting by gathering and validating inputs from operations and finance teamsProcess and track ACH, wire transfers, and intercompany fund movementsMaintain treasury documentation, including banking relationships, account structures, and internal controlsPartner with accounting during month-end close to support cash-related entries and reportingIdentify opportunities to improve processes related to cash handling, reconciliation, and reportingEnsure compliance with internal policies, controls, and financial regulationsSkillsTreasury, Treasury management, Accounting, FinanceTop Skills DetailsTreasury,Treasury managementAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferredInternship or 0 to 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or cash managementStrong attention to detail and ability to reconcile high volumes of transactions accurately, especially across multiple locationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data organizationFamiliarity with ERP systems or banking platforms is a plusAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across accounting, operations, and finance teamsAnalytical mindset, with a willingness to investigate discrepancies and ask questionsExperience LevelEntry Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, TN.
