Actively Hiring! | Sales Representative | Portland, OR | Apply Now! Job DescriptionThis is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a brand-new delivery program launching in the area. The role involves recruiting local businesses to join the Hub delivery partner program. You will collaborate with a Field Manager and other local contractors to engage with prospective businesses, pitch the program, qualify leads, guide businesses through the application process, drive referrals through community organizations, and coordinate recruitment events. Travel within a two-hour driving distance is required, with the potential to earn commission per partner converted.Responsibilities
• Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within a two-hour driving radius. • Present and pitch the program opportunity to prospective businesses to generate interest and applications. • Qualify prospective businesses and guide them through the application process, leading activities, and managing the pipeline in Salesforce. • Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events such as lunch and learns and town hall meetings. • Collaborate with local influencers like chambers of commerce and economic development associations. • Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis. Essential Skills
• Sales, customer service, account management, and business development experience. • 2+ years in sales and/or customer service roles. • Outside/Field sales experience required. • CRM experience required; Salesforce preferred. • Experience with prospecting, outbound calls, and sales management. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Bilingual abilities are a plus. • Exceptional customer service and communication skills. • Prior experience in roles involving sales and/or negotiation with customers is advantageous. • Professionalism, enthusiasm, and a high sense of urgency. • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills for field applicants. • Tech-savvy with experience working with multiple systems and technologies. • Ability to travel up to 4 hours round trip daily. Work EnvironmentThis role involves working in the field 4-5 days a week with an 80/20 split between fieldwork and home-based follow-up and administrative tasks. You will be eligible for two weeks of PTO after a successful six-month performance review. The position offers uncapped commission, reimbursement for partner applications and readiness milestones, a $50/month phone bill expense, and mileage reimbursement at 0.725 cents per mile. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Portland, OR. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.50 - $28.50/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
