About this role
As the Principal of Corporate Security – Physical Risk, North America, you will be part of the Global Corporate Security Team based in the region. This is a second line of defense role but will require close working relationship with teams responsible for physical security operations.
You'll lead corporate security for North America, focusing on physical risk management and assurance for Experian staff and assets. Be the regional subject matter expert and ensure agreement on global security programs while supporting compliance, risk mitigation, and incident response.
This role is important to the delivery of the Corporate Security 3-year roadmap, and you will be the regional expert for Corporate Security. This is a remote position.
This position does not have Direct Reports and is considered a Principal (non-supervisory) in our internal career pathing.
You'll have Opportunity To:
Oversee regional corporate security programs, including facility risk assessments, workplace violence response, event security, and insider threat detection.Manage the Executive Security Program (digital and physical) for senior leadership.Conduct risk assessments, monitor compliance with global security policies, and identify new threats.Provide training and awareness programs on travel security, physical security, and corporate security standards.Collaborate with global security leadership and company partners to deploy regional security programs.Lead incident management and crisis response efforts, ensuring reporting and resolution. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in corporate security, physical security, or resilience.8+ years of experience in corporate or physical security roles, including risk assessments and incident management.Experience managing executive security programs and travel risk management.Knowledge of security best practices and international standards (ISO27001, ISO31030, PCI, and Duty of Care).Experience influencing senior leadership and communicating complex security issues.Familiarity with compliance and assurance frameworks (2LOD experience preferred).Regional or global experience in a multicultural business environment.Professional security certifications or memberships (ASIS, OSAC, or similar) highly desirable.Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education.
